Osler seeks a currently licensed Pharmacy Technician for its hospital pharmacy department. You will support individual prescriptions, ward stock, narcotics, inventory control, and non-sterile and sterile products. CIVA, TPN, and chemotherapy preparation are included among the accountabilities, with hospital experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Dispense and distribute individual patient medications
Prepare ward stock and narcotics for distribution
Complete non-sterile and sterile compounding
Prepare TPN, CIVA, and chemotherapy products
Maintain pharmacy inventory control
Requirements: Current Ontario College of Pharmacists licensing
Hospital experience preferred
Experience manufacturing sterile and non-sterile products preferred
Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and maintain excellent attendance
Bring licensed pharmacy practice, compounding experience, and medication distribution skills to patient-focused hospital care at Osler.
