Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as a part time Technician with Dynacare in Winnipeg, working Monday to Friday mornings.
Based at Laboratory Health Services Centre, this permanent position supports routine laboratory procedures used in disease diagnosis and treatment. You will contribute to quality metrics and customer experience while working independently and within a team. Accurate documentation, equipment care, and patient testing are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities: Obtain venous and capillary blood specimens
Complete urine collections and specimen preparations
Handle infectious materials according to guidelines
Maintain accurate test and control records
Perform equipment maintenance and calibrations
Requirements: Laboratory Technician program graduation or equivalent experience
Experience with phlebotomy
Medical terminology knowledge considered an asset
Ability to multitask and work within teams
Current criminal and abuse registry checks required
