Represent Journeys’ teen lifestyle brands while driving sales, developing associates, and delivering full-service customer experiences in the store. Support leadership across daily retail operations.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager and Manager In Training with personnel and performance. Journeys features Converse, Vans, Dr Martens, UGG, Adidas, Timberland, Birkenstock, Crocs, and Hey Dude. This position helps protect company assets and implement company direction.
Key Responsibilities: Provide fun, full-service experiences to every customer
Recognize talented staff and develop growth opportunities
Communicate store needs to management effectively
Implement company initiatives to required standards
Supervise loss prevention practices during leadership absences
Requirements: Customer service and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn and complete required training programs
Retail sales experience of six to twelve months
Availability for night and weekend shifts
Must be at least eighteen years of age
Use sales leadership, brand knowledge, coaching, and customer service skills to represent Journeys’ distinctive teen retail culture.
