Veriday Inc. needs a Senior QA Engineer to transform manual regression coverage into Playwright automation during a remote Canadian contract.
This six-month engagement, with potential extension, focuses on browser-based testing within Agile delivery. You will translate existing manual documentation into Azure Dev Ops Test Plans, select high-value automation candidates, and maintain traceability.
Java Script or Type Script on Node.js, regression strategy, defect triage, and reporting are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and organize manual regression tests
Translate test documentation into structured executable automation
Maintain test plans, suites, runs, and result traceability
Refine AI-generated Playwright tests for reliability
Document frameworks,
conventions, and maintenance runbooks
Requirements:
Seven or more years as a test automation individual contributor
Experience translating manual tests into automation
Solid understanding of regression, smoke, and end-to-end strategy
Experience with Azure Dev Ops Test Plans and results management
Ability to assess coverage, duplication, gaps, and business value
Bring senior QA judgment, Playwright testing, Azure Dev Ops traceability, and regression strategy to Veriday Inc.'s Canadian contract.
