The fixed-term contract runs through December 2028 on a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off rotation. You will provide geospatial data and control supporting secure, effective earthworks construction, production, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:




Perform daily earthworks surveying and support mine departmentsInterpret engineering drawings and produce CAD or Deswik layoutsProcess drone scans and deliver accurate as-built dataMaintain control points and monitor waste facilities using RTK GPSSupport construction layouts, concrete, rebar, and field-fit designsRequirements:
Preferably one to two years surveying heavy civil earthworksExperience with Leica, Topcon, or Trimble equipmentProficiency setting up base stations and civil survey equipmentUnsupervised RTK GPS and total station experienceAbility to work between office and field environmentsSupport Blackwater Mine earthworks through accurate surveying, construction layouts, monitoring, and CAD-based deliverables.
