Peel Region seeks a Labourer for an eight-month, full-time contract at Heart Lake CRC. The role provides front-line support across Community Recycling Centres, Transfer Stations, or Compost Facilities. Key duties include customer service, waste disposal guidance, site cleanliness, equipment handling, and assistance to the Sub-Foreperson during daily operations.
Key Responsibilities: Direct vehicles and materials safely at recycling facilities
Assist residents with waste disposal questions
Maintain cleanliness and site appearance
Load and unload truck supplies and equipment
Perform winter maintenance and landscaping duties
Requirements: Grade 12 education or equivalent
Six months of job-related experience
Class G licence in valuable standing
Operate and maintain manual and power equipment
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Bring customer service, equipment operation, and site maintenance skills to Peel Region’s Community Recycling Centre operations in Brampton.
