Support may involve intellectual, emotional-behavioural, learning, hearing, vision, communication, language, physical, or medical needs. The role includes Individual Program Plans, social skills, emotional regulation, and assistive technology.
Key Responsibilities: Assist students with mild to severe learning and support needs
Implement Individual Program Plans with classroom teams
Apply positive behavioural and proactive intervention strategies




Model social skills and teach emotional regulation
Support Google Apps and communication assistive technology
Requirements: Education Assistant Program completion or equivalent post-secondary training
Experience supporting diverse learners, preferably autistic students
Experience using visual, sensory, and reinforcement supports
Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and teamwork
Ability to lift and toilet students when required
