Position Overview Our Housekeeping team is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Room Attendant to help maintain the exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards of Paradox Vancouver. As a key member of the hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring guestrooms, hallways, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards while delivering courteous and professional guest service.
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping leadership team, you will play an important role in creating a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable experience for guests by providing efficient room cleaning services, replenishing amenities, responding to guest requests, and supporting overall housekeeping operations throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities Guest Room Cleaning: Clean occupied, vacant, and checkout guestrooms according to established hotel standards, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and comfort for guests.
Room Refresh & Replenishment: Refresh guestrooms and replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and guest amenities as required.
Guest Service Support: Deliver requested items and amenities to guestrooms promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive guest experience.
Public Area Maintenance: Assist in maintaining hallways, service areas, and public spaces in a clean, organized, and presentable condition.
Work Area Organization: Ensure housekeeping carts, storage rooms, cleaning supplies, and equipment remain organized, clean, and operational.
Quality Assurance: Follow housekeeping procedures and quality standards to ensure guestrooms meet luxury hospitality expectations.
Safety Compliance: Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or security discrepancies to the appropriate manager in a timely manner.
Maintenance Reporting:



Report service deficiencies, damaged items, equipment concerns, and room maintenance issues for resolution.
Team Collaboration: Support fellow housekeeping team members in maintaining efficient operations and clean public spaces throughout the property.
Guest Interaction: Provide helpful information and assistance to guests while demonstrating professionalism and hospitality.
Operational Support: Complete additional housekeeping and hotel-related duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.
Skills & Qualifications Customer Service: Comfortable interacting with guests and capable of providing assistance and information in a professional manner.
Sanitation Knowledge: Working knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and housekeeping best practices.
Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stretch, lift, push, pull, and perform physically demanding cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
Mobility & Endurance: Ability to work efficiently across multiple guest floors and meet productivity expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and room presentation.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assigned rooms within established timelines.
Hospitality Experience (Asset): Previous hotel housekeeping, custodial, cleaning, or hospitality experience is considered an asset.
Work Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Employer sponsorship or work authorization support is not available.

Schedule: Day shift and evening shift availability required.
Availability Requirements: Must be available Monday through Friday, weekends, and holidays based on operational requirements.
Work Location: In-person in Vancouver, British Columbia.
