Deliver freight as a Class 1 P&D; Owner Operator with Midland Transport, handling local tractor-trailer routes from Kentville, Nova Scotia.
In this position, you will provide professional service through timely deliveries, safe unloading, and transparent communication. Responsibilities include operating the tractor-trailer, inspecting it before, during, and after trips, reporting incidents, and following company rules. Monday-to-Friday hours are 10:00 to 20:00.
Key Responsibilities: Complete scheduled local freight deliveries
Handle shipment weights and protect freight from damage
Maintain communication with dispatch and customers
Follow safety regulations, traffic laws, and company procedures
Report incidents, accidents, injuries, or damage promptly
Requirements: AZ driver's licence with three years safe driving experience
Tractor truck manufactured within the past eight years
High school diploma or GED
Clean driver's abstract and criminal search
Safety-conscious, reliable, and effective communicator
Use your Class 1 driving, freight delivery, safety, and communication experience supporting Midland Transport customers throughout local routes.
