As a Level II Security Systems Technician, you provide technical leadership across commercial security systems. The work includes access control, intrusion alarms, networked video, structured cabling, fiber optics, and quality assurance. You also mentor junior technicians, support project coordination, and train customers on system functions.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support and assist with project execution
Mentor apprentices, labourers, and junior technicians
Configure and commission complex security systems




Perform advanced troubleshooting and technical escalations
Conduct inspections, audits, and acceptance testing
Requirements: Minimum five-plus years of industry experience
Commercial security systems and access control experience
Video surveillance, structured cabling, and fiber experience
Competency with OTDR testing and system commissioning
Working at Heights, WHMIS, and Ontario driver's license
