Reporting to the Director of Recreation or Executive Director, this position supports recreation programming in a retirement community. You will plan activities, assess resident participation, facilitate outings, and assist with meal services. Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with seniors are required.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement meaningful resident recreation programs
Prepare, deliver, and evaluate daily activities
Facilitate scheduled and pre-arranged resident outings
Maintain assessments, evaluations, participation records, and charting
Communicate events with residents,



families, volunteers, and staff
Requirements: College diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or Gerontology
Previous experience working with seniors
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Valid provincial driver’s license and current Vulnerable Sector Screening
Support senior living through resident-focused programming, communication, outings, and compassionate recreation coordination at Ogilvie Villa.
