This Electrical Design Drafter role supports Electrical Engineers across commercial building projects. You will develop power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage documentation while coordinating architectural, structural, and mechanical designs. The work requires technical accuracy and code awareness.
Key Responsibilities: Produce floor plans, schematics, panel schedules, and single-line diagrams
Assist engineers with design concepts and electrical calculations
Coordinate electrical designs across multiple building disciplines
Prepare bills of quantities and material lists




Review contractor shop drawings and project submittals
Requirements: Diploma or certificate in electrical engineering technology or draughting
Minimum three years’ electrical drafting experience
Essential AutoCAD proficiency; Revit MEP experience desirable
Understanding of commercial power, lighting, and low-voltage systems
Familiarity with South African standards and building codes
Bring accurate drafting, electrical systems knowledge, and coordination skills to commercial construction documentation in Kimberley.
