Apply journeyman millwright expertise at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC, maintaining mechanical equipment and supporting patient safety across VIHA.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, or designate, this regular full time position performs skilled millwright work. You will assemble, install, align, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, inspect, dismantle, and move machinery. The work also includes fabrication, computerized systems, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble and install machinery and mechanical equipment
Align, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
Inspect, dismantle, and move machinery safely
Fabricate and install machine parts and components
Use computerized systems and related equipment
Requirements: Certificate as a Journey Millwright recognized by British Columbia
Two years of related experience or equivalent qualifications
Valid Class 5 vehicle license
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Physical ability to perform position duties
Bring skilled millwright maintenance, troubleshooting, fabrication, and equipment expertise to Royal Jubilee Hospital and VIHA operations.
