The Personal Care Specialist supports patient access processes within Cencora and its affiliated company, Innomar Strategies. You will record patient interactions, update pharmacy system notes, and maintain privacy requirements. The work includes payer forms, coverage reviews, financial assistance applications, and specialty pharmacy referrals. Routine inquiries receive scripted answers, while complex issues are escalated appropriately.
Key Responsibilities: Record patient interactions and update pharmacy system case notes
Process prior authorization requests and track payer decisions




Verify insurance coverage and document formulary information
Complete manufacturer copay applications and submit paperwork
Coordinate specialty pharmacy referrals and patient calls
Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Three years of pharmacy support or healthcare administration experience
Prior authorization processing or insurance verification experience
Associate degree in a related field preferred
HIPAA or applicable compliance training required
Bring pharmacy support, insurance verification, and documentation experience to Cencora’s specialty pharmacy patient services.
