This is a 12 month contract role with permanent potential

Role: The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial reporting, technical accounting, and business decision-making processes. This role requires deep expertise in IFRS. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters, lead components of the month-end and year-end close, and support the integration of acquired entities.

About the Prospect

Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting
Lead the interpretation and application of IFRS, including contract reviews, revenue recognition assessments, and preparation of technical memos.
Manage the company’s IFRS lease accounting, including identification, classification, measurement, and modification of lease agreements.
Support acquisition accounting under IFRS, including purchase price allocations (PPA), valuation of acquired assets and liabilities, and post-acquisition adjustments.
Prepare and review complex journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis related to revenue, leases, and acquisitions.
Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and disclosures related to IFRS 15, IFRS 16, and business combinations.




Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with IFRS and corporate policies.

Financial Planning & Analysis
Provide analytical support for revenue forecasting, lease cost projections, and acquisition performance tracking.
Analyze financial trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and variance drivers to support strategic planning and management reporting.
Prepare presentations and financial insights for senior leadership.

About You
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA or equivalent designation preferred.
5–8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally with exposure to multinational environments.
Robust technical knowledge of IFRS reporting.
Experience in acquisition accounting, due diligence, and PPA processes.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Power BI) is an asset.
Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
