Deliver advanced wound, ostomy, and continence care as a part time NSWOC Nurse within ParaMed’s community nursing team. Apply specialized assessment skills through consultation or direct patient care.
As a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence, you will support all patient groups through evidence-based practice. This newly added position includes direct care, clinical consultation, education, and collaboration. You will also help strengthen nursing practice across ParaMed.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, manage, and provide direct wound care
Provide ostomy and continence assessment, care, and management
Educate nurses, patients, and families
Offer clinical support and specialty product recommendations




Preceptor ParaMed nurses and participate in leadership opportunities
Requirements: Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy and Continence qualification
Minimum two years practicing as a Registered Nurse
Community or wound, ostomy, and continence care experience preferred
Current NSWOC Canada membership or registration preferred
IIWCC may be considered; WOCC(C) certification is an asset
Use advanced wound, ostomy, continence assessment, and education skills while supporting patients and ParaMed’s nursing team.
