Secure AVL Manufacturing’s Charlotte facility through access control, inspections, and emergency response. This Sunday-to-Thursday night shift runs from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
The Security Guard protects people and property from possible criminal activity in a manufacturing environment. You will monitor entrances, inspect buildings and grounds, and identify security risks or hazards. Success requires alertness, explicit communication, physical capability, and knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Key Responsibilities: Authorize entrances for vehicles and people onsite
Conduct building and grounds security inspections
Identify theft risks and support loss prevention
Assess disturbances and take appropriate action
Maintain daily activity and incident records
Requirements: Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to work across varying temperatures and noise levels
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment
Bring access control, facility inspection, and loss prevention skills to overnight security operations at AVL Manufacturing in Charlotte.
