Operate ramp vehicles and manage cargo safely as an Air Transport Cargo Handler with Calm Air. Shift work includes mornings, evenings, and weekends.
This cargo handler position supports Calm Air facilities through ramp servicing, warehouse activity, baggage handling, and customer communication. You will use Amelia Cargo System and Calm Air scanning software while following security regulations, policies, and procedures. The work helps cargo reach destinations safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities: Operate ramp-servicing vehicles and ground support equipment
Load, unload, sort, tag, and weigh freight
Transport freight between aircraft and airport warehouse
Maintain warehouse inventory and on-hand cargo reports
Answer cargo inquiries by email, phone, and in person
Requirements: Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
Effective oral and written communication skills
Valid Class 5F driver’s license
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to obtain and maintain AVOP pass
Support Calm Air cargo operations through protected vehicle operation, freight handling, inventory control, and responsive customer service.
