The Senior Financial Analyst supports multiple portfolios, client contracts, and business units across the full accounting cycle. Responsibilities include month-end close, project accounting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and financial reporting. The role requires GAAP knowledge, strong reconciliation skills, and experience with complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities: Review project revenue, margins, and unbilled backlog
Prepare percentage-of-completion revenue recognition entries
Record journal entries and reconcile general ledgers
Complete project financial closeout and reconciliation
Prepare client account reports and management analyses
Requirements: Three to six years of progressive accounting experience
University graduation or professional certification
Completed CGA, CMA, or CPA designation program
Advanced Excel and accounting systems knowledge
Understanding of GAAP and project accounting
Support BGIS portfolios through revenue recognition, reconciliations, forecasting, and advanced financial analysis in Markham or Toronto.
