Working in Maple Ridge, you will deliver direct nursing care within an acute medical unit. The position supports patients and families through care planning, health teaching, referrals, discharge preparation, and changing conditions. You will apply BCCNM standards while communicating with physicians, licensed practical nurses, educators, coordinators, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and update patient care plans with families and caregivers
Establish therapeutic relationships through empathy, trust, and respect
Teach illness prevention, health restoration, and health maintenance




Initiate appropriate healthcare and community agency referrals
Participate in committees, conferences, research, and quality improvement
Requirements: Current practicing Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
Approved School of Nursing graduation
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Ability to provide prescribed technical, therapeutic, and safety interventions
Ability to organize, prioritize, and collaborate effectively
Bring clinical assessment, patient education, advocacy, and collaboration skills to acute medical care at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
