Schlegel Villages seeks Registered Practical Nurses for temporary full-time, permanent part-time, or part-time unscheduled hours. This in office position supports residents through safe treatments, accurate documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Schedules include days, nights, or specified part-time shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Follow care plans and report resident changes
Update care plans with physicians and village leadership
Advocate for resident participation in care decisions
Support transfers, move-ins, and changing medical needs
Requirements: Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Existing Heart Save Level CPR certification
Proficient communication and computer skills
Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check and tuberculosis screening
Understanding of retirement and long-term care regulations
