Amrize seeks a Construction Cost Accountant to manage billing, job performance reporting, and financial controls for Foothills Ready-Mix.
As Job Cost Accountant, you will support the accounting structure for the Foothills Ready-Mix group. The position reports to the Controller for SAB Construction and provides resources to administrative accounting staff and management. Your focus includes job setup, invoicing, WIP, cost allocation, and collections support.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee job setup, progress tracking, and tonnage reporting
Support invoice documentation, adjustments, rebills, and collections
Maintain accurate WIP reporting with Operations
Coordinate billing issues and customer disputes across departments
Identify accounting process and reporting improvements
Requirements: Undergraduate degree required
Accounting, finance, or related business studies preferred
Minimum two years of job costing experience preferred
Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency required
SAP, Track, or Frontline experience is an asset
Bring construction accounting, job setup, billing, and WIP reporting skills to Amrize’s Calgary team.
