This permanent part time position serves the Mental Health Global Psychiatry department at North York General. You will provide patient and family driven care while supporting assessment, education, prevention, maintenance, and restoration of health. The role includes communication, prioritization, transfers, lifts, and ongoing career development.
Key Responsibilities: Provide culturally sensitive patient and family driven care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers across the organization
Assess, educate, prevent, maintain, and restore patient health




Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and staff
Support teaching, learning, research, and innovation
Requirements: Recognized Registered Practical Nursing diploma
Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and Medication certificates
Minimum two years’ experience preferred
Computer, patient information system, transfer, and lift skills
Bring mental health nursing, critical thinking, and patient education skills to North York General’s Mental Health Global Psychiatry department.
