Load outbound freight for Walmart stores in Mississauga using secure scanning, conveyor management, and trailer loading practices. This is a union represented position.
As a Distribution Centre Team Associate, you will manage freight movement through Walmart’s Shipping department. The work includes handling conveyable and non-conveyable merchandise, using 5090 shipping lane computers and TC70s with the MM program. You will follow shipping procedures, maintain product flow, and support fellow associates.
Key Responsibilities: Scan and load conveyable and non-conveyable freight safely
Maintain constant product flow and minimize recirculation
Clear jams and follow trailer release procedures
Adhere to all Shipping policies and procedures
Maintain housekeeping standards and support fellow associates
Requirements: Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly for 10 hours
Use 5090 shipping lane computers proficiently
Use TC70s with the MM program daily
Wear steel-toed safety shoes or boots
Be 18 years or older
Support Walmart store shipments in Mississauga through freight scanning, trailer loading, conveyor flow, and Shipping procedures.
