Turn accounting studies into practical financial reporting experience with MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team, supporting clients and engagement teams.
As an Intern, you will help deliver tailored financial information within Canada’s evolving business and reporting landscape. The work includes bookkeeping, tax, compilations, reviews, and audits. You will build knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and ASPE while contributing to client files and reports.
Key Responsibilities: Apply financial reporting standards to client accounting work
Conduct inventory counts and set up current client files
Perform accounts receivable, payable, payroll, and capital asset walkthroughs
Assess audit evidence for financial statement areas
Establish charts of accounts and prepare posting entries
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration in progress
Accounting or finance major preferred
CPA Professional Education Program prerequisites in progress
Client service experience considered an asset
Experience with accounting and tax software considered an asset
Strengthen financial reporting, audit evidence, and accounting systems experience while supporting MNP clients and engagement teams.
