We are looking for a Business Analyst for a 4-month contract position, with possible extensions in Regina, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Position is available as remote. Preference will be given to candidates located in Saskatchewan.

Role Description
The ideal candidate will have insurance experience and prior experience on an Agile delivery team supporting an event-based microservices application. You will provide temporary Business Analyst capacity to support planned delivery and operational work, including enhanced production support for the Company’s custom built Platform. The resources will use Azure DevOps to plan and support products built on an event-based .NET microservices architecture, following up-to-date development standards within a defined product-domain structure. In addition to core Business Analyst responsibilities, you will assist with testing and perform Scrum Master duties as needed to maintain delivery momentum and team effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Gather stakeholder feedback, define and refine requirements, and support discovery and planning activities.

Assist with delivery, testing, operational priorities,



and the tracking and analysis of project progress and outcomes.

Facilitate Agile ceremonies, perform Scrum Master duties as needed, remove barriers, and promote collaboration and continuous improvement.

Strengthen Business Analyst coverage across DRIVE Product Teams to support competing priorities and reduce delivery risk.

Required Skills and Experience

3+ years experience with the following technologies and skills:

Scrum

Domain-Drive Design (DDD)

Event Based Architecture

Micro-services

.NET using GIT and Visual Studio

Application Insights for monitoring and alerting

Jest for automated testing

Automated Development Pipelines

Azure services for event database technologies
