Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seeks a Nurse 4 Public Health Nurse for Public Health Downtown. The work draws on public health, primary care, family and child health, communicable disease control, and community development. You will serve diverse populations, community residents, partners, and agencies through clinical and educational practice.
Key Responsibilities: Apply health promotion and primary prevention principles
Provide immunizations, injections, phlebotomy, and physical assessments
Work with community residents, partners, and agencies




Facilitate groups and apply adult education principles
Organize activities, workload, teaching, and counseling
Requirements: Baccalaureate Nursing degree
Current College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba registration
Two years of recent relevant experience, or Public Health practicum
Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license
Excellent English communication and computer application skills
Use community nursing, health promotion, and clinical assessment skills as a Public Health Nurse with WRHA in Winnipeg.
