Lead Primary curriculum transformation for Grades K-3 through professional learning, collaborative planning, and strong communication across the district. Adaptable days support this term assignment.
Reporting to the District Principal, Curriculum Transformation, this coordinator works within the District’s Curriculum Transformation Team. The position advances early learning framework and primary curriculum goals through collaboration with teachers, administrators, support staff, parents, students, and the public.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and facilitate professional learning for Grades K-3
Plan collaboratively, demonstrate lessons, and co-teach with teachers
Lead initiatives connected to the Curriculum Transformation Operational Plan




Contribute learning content to Engage and online resources
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements: Five years of recent successful elementary or primary classroom teaching
Experience facilitating adult learning and professional development
Experience coaching and mentoring educators
Understanding of the BC Early Learning Framework
Knowledge of inclusive instruction, assessment, and competency-based lesson design
Apply primary teaching, professional learning, and curriculum expertise to support Grades K-3 across the district.
