The Waterloo Catholic District School Board seeks Education Assistants for its supply list. You will work under School Administrators, Classroom Educators, and Student Services Professionals. The work supports student learning, well-being, safety, inclusion, and diverse developmental, behavioural, communication, physical, and social-emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities: Implement Individual Education Plans, Behaviour Support Plans, and safety plans
Support instructional, behavioural, communication, and self-regulation strategies
Assist with hygiene, personal care, mobility, transfers, and positioning
Use approved practices for challenging behaviours and physical aggression




Supervise students during lessons, transitions, transportation, and community outings
Requirements: Educational Assistant or related Support Worker diploma or certificate
Relevant degree, graduate certificate, diploma, training, or credentials
Credentials supporting diverse learning, developmental, or behavioural needs
Behaviour Management System training considered an asset
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Background Check required
Bring adaptable, cooperative support to high-needs students while applying individualized programming, safety practices, and personal care across WCDSB schools.
