As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide care according to resident care plans and help identify changing needs. You will monitor care, report findings, document information, and support infection prevention procedures. The role also includes participating in education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops as directed.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor resident care against established plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document resident care information as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Follow IPAC policies and procedures
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
Know bedside care, sanitation, and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident care, observation, documentation, and IPAC knowledge to AgeCare’s Personal Support Worker team.
