This pharmacist position supports the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist across all aspects of pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include receiving prescription requests, operating pharmacy equipment, maintaining product storage, and following OBWs and SOPs. Patient privacy and provincial regulations remain essential throughout the work.
Key Responsibilities: Execute pharmacy processes according to OBWs and SOPs
Operate registers, computer systems, and pharmacy equipment
Store pharmaceutical products properly and securely
Protect patient privacy at all times
Travel according to Relief program coordinator schedules
Requirements: Current Pharmacist License
Alberta applicants may hold additional prescribing authorization
Minimum age requirement is 16 years
Follow regulations established by the provincial regulatory body
Work across various locations as scheduled
Bring licensed pharmacy expertise, equipment proficiency, and procedural accuracy to Walmart’s scheduled Relief Pharmacist assignments.
