Raise is hiring this Training and Competency Assurance Advisor for its client, an industry leader in Canadian oil and natural gas. The six-month contract supports workforce capability, compliance, and operational excellence. You will coordinate training, administer qualification processes, and help employees and contractors meet safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and facilitate technical, safety, and operational training
Administer competency and qualification processes for employees and contractors
Assess training needs and identify competency gaps
Maintain records within learning management systems




Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements: Eight or more years in training, competency, or operational experience
Experience in Oil and Gas, Oil Sands, Mining, or heavy industry
Experience facilitating adult learning and competency programs
Understanding of safety, qualifications, and compliance requirements
Experience with learning management and competency tracking tools
Apply training facilitation, compliance, and competency assurance expertise to support operational readiness at Foster Creek and other Oil Sands facilities.
