As a Central Care Attendant at The Easy Alternative Toronto, you will support death care services across the Greater Toronto Area. The work includes transporting human remains, assisting funeral preparation, maintaining vehicles and facilities, and managing required records. You will also support the Office of the Chief Coroner within specific timelines.
Key Responsibilities: Transfer human remains respectfully from hospitals, hospices, residences, and care facilities
Load, secure, transport, and unload remains using proper equipment
Document movements, personal effects, and cremation-related items




Assist embalming preparation and transfer cremated remains into vessels
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, supplies, and facility organization
Requirements: High school diploma, GED, related experience, training, or equivalent combination
Valid Ontario G licence with a clean driver’s abstract
Ability to lift safely and perform physical manual labour
Professional discretion when handling confidential information and bereaved persons
Intermediate Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook proficiency
