Write well‑designed, testable, and efficient code using best software development practices.

Assist in gathering and refining technical requirements and specifications.

Collaborate with the Scrum team to plan work, deliver features successfully, and raise risks or issues when identified.

Contribute to design and code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and maintainability.

Support testing activities, including unit, integration, and functional testing.

Participate in documentation of system changes, technical designs, and operational guidelines as required.

Assist with post‑implementation reviews to identify improvements and learning opportunities.

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture apply to day‑to‑day development activities and decisions.

Contribute positively to a high‑performance, inclusive, and collaborative team environment.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have: University or College Degree in Computer Science or a related field. 3–5 years of experience developing enterprise or cloud‑native applications.

Experience or working knowledge of Java‑based microservices and distributed systems.





Exposure to technologies such as Java 8+, Spring Boot, JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines .

Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, SVN, or Bitbucket .

Understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Basic familiarity with software security and code quality tools (e.g., Black

Duck, Fortify, Sonar

Qube) is an asset.

Exposure to messaging technologies such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or Azure Service Bus , and databases (RDBMS, NoSQL, Redis) is an asset.

Good problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.

Ability to work effectively with team members across varying levels of experience. A passion for software development and continuous improvement.
