About Our Client Our client is currently seeking five reliable and well-presented Temporary Retail Visual Merchandising Assistants to support a recent store opening for a fashion retailer in downtown Vancouver.

This is a great short-term opportunity for individuals who have an interest in fashion, retail, merchandising, and visual presentation.

The successful candidates will assist with preparing the store for its opening by unpacking, organizing, steaming, hanging, and arranging clothing and merchandise.

We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. A professional appearance and the ability to handle clothing and merchandise with care are essential.

Location: Downtown Vancouver, BC Employment Type: Temporary Assignment Dates: November 9 – November 14, 2026 Schedule: Various shifts between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM Compensation: $19–$20 per hour Start Date: November 9, 2026 Key Responsibilities Unpack clothing, accessories, and merchandise delivered to the store.

Steam garments to ensure clothing is wrinkle-free and ready for display.

Hang, organize, sort, and arrange clothing according to merchandising requirements.

Assist with setting up clothing displays, racks, and store presentation areas.

Ensure merchandise is handled carefully and kept clean and presentable.





Support general store preparation and visual merchandising activities ahead of the opening.

Maintain an organized, clean, and tidy work area.

Follow instructions from the store management team and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the store setup is completed on schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in retail, merchandising, fashion, hospitality, or customer service is an asset. A genuine interest in fashion, clothing, and visual presentation.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle garments and merchandise with care.

Comfortable with hands-on work, including unpacking, sorting, hanging, and steaming clothing.

Qualified, polished, and well-groomed appearance.

Clean hands and well-maintained fingernails are essential, as employees will be handling clothing and merchandise.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to attending all scheduled shifts.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks throughout the shift.
