Under RN and RPN guidance, the Personal Care Assistant contributes to routine patient care within agreed plans. The work includes duties aligned with the classification or clinical specialty and supports a safe environment for patients. Candidates should demonstrate communication, collaboration, and continuing professional development.

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements: Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized college
Relevant acute-care experience and current CPR certification
Working knowledge of infection control practices
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
Availability to work all shifts with satisfactory attendance
Use acute-care knowledge, infection-control practices, and patient safety skills to support Brightshores’ Medical/Surgical patients.
