Support participant independence and social skills with Carrier Sekani Family Services in Prince George, working full time through August 2028.
This Family Preservation position supports participants through social, therapeutic, and life skills programming. You will develop strategies encouraging communication, group participation, and healthy relationships. The work also helps participants build confidence and skills for adult, employment, and volunteer settings.
Key Responsibilities: Develop strategies encouraging participation in activities and group projects
Improve participants’ social skills through program delivery
Support independence, self-confidence, and self-esteem development
Assist participants developing productive adult life skills
Help participants function appropriately in jobs and volunteer positions
Requirements: Therapeutic Life Skills or Life Skills Certificate
Two years’ experience in a related practice area
Availability for full-time term employment through August 2028
Ability to work 35 hours per week
Bring therapeutic life skills experience to participant development, relationship-building, and independence-focused programming with CSFS in Prince George.
