Chester Basin Animal Hospital welcomes experienced technicians and new graduates to its collaborative team. You will assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, surgeries, and medical procedures while supporting individualized care. The work includes patient preparation, laboratory procedures, medications, and client education.
Key Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries
Monitor anesthesia, recovery, pain management, and dental procedures
Place IV catheters and administer directed treatments




Collect and process laboratory samples
Maintain accurate patient files, logs, and inventory
Requirements: Complete a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program
Be eligible for provincial registration
Demonstrate knowledge of patient care, anesthesia, and pharmacology
Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and patient assessment
Communicate compassionately with clients and team members
Bring technical veterinary skills, compassionate care, and collaborative communication to Chester Basin Animal Hospital's small-animal patients.
