Build accounts receivable and collections expertise in Woodbridge, Vaughan, with customer communication and payment recovery at the centre.
This permanent, full time junior position supports an established transportation industry accounting team. You will manage customer accounts, follow up on overdue invoices, document payment commitments, and resolve routine billing discrepancies. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with training on the proprietary TEDS transportation management and accounting system.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor assigned accounts and review outstanding balances
Make collection calls and send electronic customer follow-ups
Record payment commitments and monitor promised payment dates
Review aging reports and prioritize overdue account follow-ups




Maintain accurate notes, correspondence, and payment information
Requirements: One to three years in accounts receivable or collections
Direct experience following up on outstanding customer payments
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic understanding of payment terms and invoice processing
Microsoft Office and basic Excel reporting knowledge
Apply accounts receivable, customer communication, and payment tracking skills while developing collections expertise with an experienced accounting team.
