Reporting to the Manager, Accounting Operations, this Accounting Technician handles broad finance activities at Northwestern Polytechnic. Responsibilities include processing student, customer, sponsor, supplier, and internal payments. The position also supports account inquiries, procurement card processes, reconciliations, reporting, forecasts, budgets, and policy-compliant documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Apply and reconcile payments from students, sponsors, customers, and others
Prepare customer invoices, refunds, transfers, statements, and account adjustments
Monitor aging, investigate discrepancies, and address overdue receivables
Process supplier invoices,



expense claims, honoraria, and payment requests
Administer procurement card and purchasing documentation processes
Requirements: Accounting Technician Certificate, Accounting Diploma, or Business Administration Diploma
Equivalent education and experience combination considered
Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and Outlook
Solid organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build relationships with integrity and accountability
