This Custodian Janitor role focuses on assigned-area cleaning and sanitation. Duties include dusting, mopping, shampooing carpets, washing surfaces, and removing rubbish. You will also move furniture, follow approved procedures, and complete supervisor-assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures
Dust and damp mop floors throughout assigned areas
Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors
Shampoo carpets and rugs using assigned equipment
Sanitize surfaces, walls, windows, and furniture
Requirements: Previous housekeeping or custodian experience is an asset
WHMIS and BSW certifications are assets
Good verbal and written English language skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Physical ability to perform all job aspects
