The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board seeks an Educational Assistant for Classroom Assistant/Physical Care duties. The assignment continues until approximately November 27, 2026, without extending beyond June 30, 2027. Relevant preparation, behavior strategies, and communication skills are central requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom assistance for students with multiple needs
Support students with physical needs, Autism, and developmental delays
Apply behavior modification strategies when supporting students




Use augmentative communication strategies as appropriate
Use Google Classroom, Google Meet, and digital learning resources
Requirements: Two-year relevant post-secondary diploma
Experience supporting students with multiple needs
Experience with behavior and anger management needs
Ability to work effectively in a team workplace
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Bring physical care, classroom support, behavior strategies, and communication skills to Educational Assistant work at St. Theresa School.
