Assess patient function and deliver physiotherapy care at North York General Hospital, using evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation practices. This is a part-time regular position with eight-hour day shifts, evenings, and weekends.
As a Physiotherapist in the Health Disciplines Unit, you will assess clinical findings, develop treatment plans, and educate patients and families. You will collaborate with healthcare teams while supporting teaching, learning, research, and innovation. The position serves medical and geriatric populations in an acute care hospital.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, treat, and educate patients following physiotherapy standards
Develop, adjust, and terminate treatment plans appropriately
Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques safely




Document patient health records and communicate with healthcare teams
Supervise rehabilitation assistants, students, and interns
Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
One year related acute care hospital experience
Ontario physiotherapy registration in valuable standing
Computer proficiency with patient information systems
Apply physiotherapy assessment, rehabilitation, documentation, and patient education skills within North York General Hospital’s Health Disciplines Unit.
