This regular full-time Maintenance Technician works in the Mechanical/Trades department within Engineering & Infrastructure. The position supports facility operations through equipment inspections, repairs, specialized projects, renovations, and construction trade work. It also requires plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building systems knowledge.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect and repair equipment and facility systems
Perform programmed preventative maintenance and component replacements
Maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment
Service plumbing, pumps, motors, and refrigeration equipment
Maintain equipment logs and troubleshoot building systems
Requirements: Two-year diploma in building systems maintenance
Expertise repairing equipment with power tools
Experience interpreting blueprints and building automation systems
