As an on-call Delivery Agent or Letter Carrier, you will represent Canada Post while serving customers and businesses. Your work includes preparing routes, driving postal vehicles, and delivering items by foot or vehicle. You may also perform postal clerk duties inside a sorting facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and prepare daily deliveries at the depot
- Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
- Deliver mail and packages along assigned routes
- Unload incoming mail and packages at the depot
- Sort, scan, sequence, and dispatch postal items
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence
- Protected driving record for at least three years
- Ability to lift 22.7 kilograms and carry 15.9 kilograms
- Ability to work in all types of weather
- Availability for on-call evenings and weekends
