Job Description
ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services are hiring Bakers for a remote lodge near Wawa, ON. Bakers are responsible for preparing baked goods, such as pastries, pies, cookies, squares, cakes, and other bakery items. Coordinate and be responsible for the handling, preparation, production, and timely service of all large volume baking in accordance with methods and standards. Successful candidates will have professional remote camp or commercial baking experience.

Transportation is provided out of Thunder Bay & White River, ON.
Rotation are 2 weeks on site/2 weeks off site.

Job Responsibilities
Bakes and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipesSets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipmentPrepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.Safely uses a variety of utensils including knivesProperly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and proceduresCleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensilsMaintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitationEnsures security of company assets

Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferredProven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storageRequired to obtain food safety certification(s)Demonstrates basic math and counting skillsDemonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
