Role Description The Oracle OIC Consultant will work on designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Oracle applications and other enterprise systems using Oracle Integration Cloud. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, configuring and testing integration flows, troubleshooting issues, and providing consulting support to stakeholders on best practices and solution design. The consultant will collaborate with business and technical teams to optimize business processes, support order management and EPM-related workflows, and ensure that integrations are secure, scalable, and reliable.

This is a contract role based in Ontario, Canada, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility.



The consultant is expected to manage project timelines, produce clear documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of integration standards and methodologies.

Qualifications

- Robust consulting skills with experience translating business needs into technical solutions, including Business Process analysis and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Applications, including configuration, integration development, and testing having 8+ years of experience
- Knowledge of Enterprise Project Management (EPM) concepts and tools, with the ability to support project-related integrations and reporting workflows.
- Understanding of Order Management processes and related integrations, preferably within Oracle-based or similar enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, adapters), data mapping, and error handling.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment in Ontario, Canada, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical designs and provide clear status updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms, security best practices, and performance optimization for integrations is an asset.
- Relevant Oracle or integration-related certifications are beneficial.
