INDEPENDENT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTOR

Island Guardian Security | Remote | Vancouver Island

Island Guardian Security is seeking one independent Business Development Contractor to help grow our security services across Vancouver Island. This is a primarily remote opportunity, with local meetings and site visits as needed.

ABOUT THE CHANCE

The contractor will identify and develop prospective client relationships for Island Guardian Security’s security services, including static security, mobile patrol, event security, access control, close proximity protection, and security planning.

COMPENSATION

4% recurring commission on qualifying monthly revenue collected from contracts brought in by the contractor.

No base salary.

Example: $24,000 in qualifying monthly client revenue produces $960 in monthly commission. Commission is payable only while the client contract remains active with Island Guardian Security and the contractor remains engaged with Island Guardian

Security. Commission adjusts if the client’s services change. A written contractor agreement will govern commission eligibility and payment.



Island Guardian Security retains final authority over quotations and contracts.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Proven B2B sales experience is required. Strong prospecting, communication, relationship-building, and closing ability.

Able to work independently and present professionally with sound judgment.

Security-industry knowledge is an asset, but is not required for someone willing and able to learn.

The contractor may work with other businesses, but may not work for other competing security or protection companies.

SERVICE TERRITORY:

Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Duncan, Ladysmith, Port Alberni, Courtenay, and Comox.
