Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and familiarity with dental office operations to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
- Collect payments and process billing using dental practice management software ABELDent
- Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with administrative duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely patient flow and appointment adherence
- Handle front desk duties efficiently,



including managing appointment reminders and patient inquiries

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental office setting
- Knowledge of dental practice management software ABELDent is highly preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and medical terminology
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally and efficiently
- Previous experience working with insurance verification and billing processes is desirable
- Office experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for patients
- Hours of work: Saturdays 7:30 am to 2:00 pm

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
