Executive Mat Service is seeking a motivated, organized, and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations at our Edmonton branch. This role is responsible for leading and supporting production staff, coordinating the processing of mats and linen, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring all products are processed efficiently, accurately, and safely.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the importance of productivity and quality control, and can motivate a team to meet daily operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and coordinate daily production operations, including mat and linen processing.

· Lead, train, coach, and motivate production staff to meet productivity, quality, and service standards.

· Oversee the sorting, handling, processing, inspection, folding, and preparation of mats, linen, and paper products

· Coordinate production schedules and workflow to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.

· Monitor product quality and ensure mats and linen meet company standards before being prepared for delivery.

· Organize and prioritize production activities to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.

· Monitor levels, supplies, and other production materials.

· Ensure equipment is operated properly and report maintenance issues as required.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and secure production and work environment.

· Enforce workplace health and safety procedures,



including proper equipment use and safe material handling.

· Identify opportunities to improve production processes, workflow, quality, and overall productivity.

· Address day-to-day operational challenges, resolve production issues, and support employee performance.

· Ensure company policies, procedures, and quality standards are consistently followed.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in production, manufacturing, laundry, textile, or warehouse environment.

· Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.

· Experience with mats, linen, laundry, or textile processing is an asset.

· Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet production deadlines.

· Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.

· Ability to work effectively with a team while maintaining productivity and accountability.
